WAYS TO VOLUNTEER

Join the Movement for Strongsville Schools!

​

Our students deserve an education that match their potential, and we need your help to spread the word about the November's operating levy. We are looking for passionate community members to join our volunteer team and help educate the public about this ballot issue. Any contribution of your time and talent will help - your voice makes a difference in ensuring our schools stay strong.

Here are our committees, all led by the For Strongsville steering committee. 

​

  • Finance & Fundraising - Secures the funds needed for signs, mailers, digital ads, door hangers and chasers, and works with the Treasurer to keep the campaign's finances compliant and transparent.

​​

  • Communications & Messaging - Develops the core campaign message and talking points, and produces all public-facing content — website, social media, press releases, and op-eds.

​​

  • Voter Outreach & Canvassing - Organizes door-knocking, phone/text banking, and community meet-and-greets to persuade and mobilize voters.

​​

  • Yard Signs & Visibility - Handles the logistics of yard signs and public visibility — ordering, distribution, placement, and event presence.

​​

  • Data & GOTV (Get out the vote) - Tracks absentee ballot requests and turnout data, and drives the final push to get identified supporters to actually vote.

WAYS YOU CAN HELP

Educate

  • Educate yourself on this ballot issue and why it will benefit every Strongsville citizen. 

  • Talk with your friends and neighbors about our schools and why they should vote for it. 

  • Host a Board Member or Administrator to educate your network about this operating levy.

Donate

  • For Strongsville is NOT funded by Strongsville City Schools.  We are a group of Strongsville citizens who campaign for the passage of Operating Levys and Bond Issues. 

  • We rely on private donations to fund yard signs, mailers and other communications to the community. 

Communicate

  • Use your social network to share accurate information about this operating levy. School funding can be complex and confusing to many voters.  

  • Volunteer to assist the campaign to deliver yard signs, distribute literature, and hold a sign at polling locations on voting day.
